Phoenix Wang

Program Advisor, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation

Phoenix Wang is program advisor at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and co-founder of Startl, a social venture for catalyzing innovations in learning. Wang co-leads the MacArthur Foundation's Learning Network in New York, which uses a design-driven methodology to help non-formal learning institutions design digital media and learning strategies. Wang served as education program officer at Hewlett, directing investments to catalyze systemic change in urban school districts. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Wang held management positions at iVillage Inc. and Accenture Consulting. She holds a bachelor's degree from Williams College and a master's degree in education from Harvard University.
